New Painting, ARC Voting and more
My dearest friends and supporters,
Can you believe it’s the beginning of a whole new year? I hope you are well and not too frazzled by all the events that have been happening of late. It’s definitely been a good time for self care and to think deeply about what truly matters in life.
I have exciting news, but I need your help please. My painting “Fire Within” made it to the Art Renewal Center FINALIST category!
The ARC (Art Renewal Center) contest had over 5000 people participating from over 80 countries! Huge congrats to Robert Liberace for winning the big Best of Show award, to Arantza Sestayo for winning the Imaginative Realism Award, and to the other winners! Additionally, all of the finalists, including yours truly, have a chance to win the People’s Choice Award. I could use your help-would you please consider voting for my painting?
Voting ends on Tuesday January 19th which is coming up quick (we only have a small window of time for voting).
You DO have to first create a free account, and then I suggest using the SAME link I have here, again, after you make an account (just make a new window and press this LINK again) to find the People's Choice Award page. It can be difficult to find on the site itself without a direct link.
You should only have to fill in Mary Martinez under ARTIST (leave out the ANCILLA part of my name) and then hit search. If it makes you fill out more, ignore the AWARDS menu.

In other news, I just finished a new painting last weekend for Hive Gallery’s Annual Tarot Art Show. My painting “Beyond the Shimmer of Stars” was based on The Lover’s card, though I added my own elements and vibe. I’m happy to announce that the painting sold at the show last Saturday, but I do have prints available in two sizes/prices! Click here to access my shop.
