Summer of violet flame
Greetings from Los Angeles!
Is it really July already? Geesh!
It's been some time since I've reached out and I wanted to let you all know what I’ve been up to and why I haven't been creating full moon paintings. As some of you know, we had a very serious accident occur in the family and we spent over a month in Pennsylvania as a result (PA is where the accident occurred) and another two months or more getting back into daily life in California. Everyone is ok and healing well which is a miracle I am so incredibly grateful for!
Obviously, painting and art making were not top priorities during this time, so the moon paintings had to be set aside. I recently started to work on one again and will see where it takes me.
The moon paintings I did create are available to view in the Tiny Visions art show at Hive Gallery in downtown LA. Although the moon paintings sold and are no longer available for purchase, you’re still able to go check them out in person if you'd like! There are lots of really interesting and well done art pieces in the show.
I do have a new painting to share, and am looking for names if you have any suggestions! Please send me your ideas!
(I still need to get a better photo of her taken but I am excited to share her with you and this one will suffice for the meantime).
While painting her, I had in heart that She is Lilith..she is Brigid...she is the violet flame, unbridled passion, the wild wisdom dwelling within...she is kundalini rising, the kukulcan. She is purifying change, psychic clearing out, a transmuting force, the mysterious and wild feminine nature.
