Season of flames

Hello Friends!
Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we have reached  the peak of the solar year, a time known as Midsummer (or poetically called "the Season of Flames") centered around the Summer Solstice which fell this year on Saturday June 20th.  The energetic fire has been increasing in all facets. Those of you in the Southern Hemisphere are in the time of the Winter Solstice, where the fire is just getting ready to return. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

Tensions are high as major structural changes are happening all over the globe and humanity seems to be on the brink of changing from an old identity to the next. To break down the emotional, physical and mental aspects of our collective persona creates an often very painful interplay between spirit and matter as we go through the process of mastering our self, our thought patterns and our subconscious beliefs. The potential for growth and empowerment follows—while one structure is broken down another is being reconstructed to (hopefully) better serve us. How can we most powerfully participate in releasing old attachments? How can we improve ourselves and relate to each other more for the spiritual advancement of humanity?

I'm excited to give you a taste of some of the work I am doing in collaboration with best selling author Dr. Cyndi Brannen, widely known for her book and blog Keeping Her Keys. Cyndi "teaches and writes from the crossroads of personal development, spirituality and true magic, merging ancient wisdom with modern practices". Here is one of my illustrations!

I'm also excited to share that my original painting  "Passage to Eternity" is now available as part of Hive Gallery's Best of Hive Anniversary show.  I recently got it framed at Four Sticks framing. There is a slight mistake on the Hive Gallery site though, the image is framed! You can purchase the original here.

Prints of Passage to Eternity are also now available in my Etsy store.

I have had many requests for my painting "Believe" to be made into prints, and I finally did it! I very much appreciate everyone who pushed for this-thank you for your continual support!  You may purchase prints at my Etsy store.

My original 'Believe" oil painting is now available at 33 Contemporary Gallery in the show "Shelter", curated by Dr Samuel Peralta. "Shelter is a group exhibition exploring the interpretation of that object or place or memory that in these times offers safe harbor from the storm, offers tranquility, comfort, solace. Offers shelter." (quote taken from Shelter website) See it here!

I will be donating a portion of my proceeds in solidarity and support of Black Lives Matter and to help the children in ICE detention. May we all continue to replace systemic racism with compassion and equality.

Be well. Love, Mary
