spring blossoms
Hi there,
I hope everyone is mentally and physically healthy and coping as best as possible under the circumstances. As many of our plans (and jobs) have been cancelled, simultaneously the earth has started to blossom in the Northern Hemisphere and gently reminds us of the promise of rebirth. Things WILL change. Like so many things in life, this is only temporary. Most importantly, my praise goes out to all on the front lines tending to those afflicted.

I’m excited to share that I have finished my latest painting of the faun I have been working on, titled “Passage to Eternity”. I would LOVE to hear a story that you create about her! Write one and send it my way! I was inspired to ask for stories after reading what Meri Fowler wrote to me unprompted upon viewing my painting:
“The butterfly has awoken from the confinement of the cocoon and symbolizes the women's awakening. What does she do with this enlightenment? She opens up her higher connections with the silver key and the golden lock, ensuring her connections with the Ancestors and the Sidhe. She is grounded in the earth realm by placing her hand on the stone. It also is a commitment to heal the earth but also she is a wild beauty completely secure in herself. She stands in a well, but is she coming out or going in? It doesn't matter because she is able to connect with the earth realm and the Faery realm below. For me the whole painting is about the freedom she has to create her own destiny. I hope you don't mind me telling you what I see. I love this painting so much and connect with its message and feeling.”
