Start the new year by stepping away from expectations and making space for something new to emerge.
This two-day, immersive Intuition Painting workshop takes place over two Saturdays, giving you time to settle into the process, explore more deeply, and allow your painting to unfold. You’ll experience the unique six-phase Intuition Painting process through color, movement, mark-making, and layers while learning to tune in, follow your intuition, and discover what becomes possible when you let go of the need to know where the painting is going.
Create from intuition. Explore what’s possible. Discover what wants to emerge.
This is not about being “good at art” or creating a finished painting for display. It’s about being present with your creative process, loosening the inner critic, and learning to trust your own instincts as you paint.
You’ll be guided through a structured process that gives you enough direction to feel supported, while leaving plenty of room for discovery, experimentation, and your own creative voice.
No previous painting experience is necessary.

What Is Intuition Painting?
Born from the expressive arts movement and informed by the visionary work of Aviva Gold, Shaun McNiff, Natalie Rogers, Michelle Cassou, Stewart Cubley, and others, Intuition Painting was brought into its current form by Montine Blank.
Intuition Painting is a six-phase, non-directive painting process that combines intuitive creative expression with art-based coaching, creating space for creative freedom, self-discovery, and personal revelation.
At its heart, the process invites you to:
Let go of judgment and the pressure to make something “good”
Loosen your grip on control and expectations
Follow your brush without needing to know what comes next
Stay curious and allow what is ready to emerge
Explore color, mark-making, movement, and layers
Trust your own creative instincts and discover what the painting may have to reveal.
Where Creativity Meets Intuition
Through the process, the painting becomes a conversation with your intuition, Muse, Higher Self—or whatever language feels meaningful to you.

What Can Happen When You Let Go
This isn't about technique or creating a painting that looks a certain way. There are no critiques and no pressure to get it right. Instead, you’re invited to let go of judgment, release the need to control the outcome, and become curious about what wants to emerge.
The process offers both structure and freedom.
The process is structured enough to support you.
There are six phases which provide a framework to guide you through the process, so you always have a place to begin and a direction to explore.
The process is also free enough to surprise you!
Within that structure, you are free to follow your intuition, experiment, change direction, and discover something you couldn't have planned.
This creates a space which is open enough to hold what arises.
Your painting becomes a place to explore whatever shows up for you—feelings, memories, ideas, questions, images, or simply the pleasure of creating.
